Humming birds reside year round in Texas, and in many places in the country, one sees feeder in backyards. I decided to try that at our East Texas place, got a feeder from Walmart and filled it with sugar syrup before hanging it in a tree.
It did not take long for a couple humming bird to start visiting. After taking pictures from afar with my telephoto lens, I decided to set a Gopro in the tree by the feeder. The Gopro was on a Gorilla tripod which I wrapped around the tree. The setup time was literally 10s (wrap the flexible legs of the tripod around the trunk, and press the start button on the Gopro). The gopro is set to auto, at 60fps.
