M16

Messier 16 dataset: the Eagle Nebula (also Messier 16, NGC 6611, or sometimes the “Star Queen Nebula”) is a young open cluster of stars in the constellation Serpens. The nebula contains several active star-forming gas and dust regions, including the Pillars of Creation, imaged in an iconic picture in 1995 by the Hubble Space telescope.

This target was imaged by Moana in October 2022, while relatively low on the sky. The dataset has 75 color 1 minutes frames with no moon and 50 5mn narrow band frames (Ha, SII, OIII). Use the calibration masters provided below (Gain 90).
